LNER’s Customer & Community Investment Fund (the CCIF Fund) works to support charities and causes along their route. It provides vital funding to small and medium sized projects that deliver a positive impact.
Now open for 2025 applications, groups can apply for up to £10,000 – with preference given to small and medium charities. Projects must be finished within a 12-month funding period starting in April 2026.
Applications should support one or more of the three priorities the fund supports:
- Better for People: Fostering a culture of equality, that champions diversity and inclusivity, or Creating a culture of positive mental health, bringing people and communities together.
- Better for Places: Creating skilled and inclusive communities along our networks that can thrive.
- Better for Planet: Conserve resources, reduce waste and reuse where possible.
Applications must be submitted by 11:59pm on Monday 25 August 2025 – with successful applicants to be notified by April/May 2026.
