CVS Falkirk & District’s next Connecting Volunteering Network, the last one of the year, will take place on Wednesday 26 November 2025, 10am – 12pm at Falkirk Community Fire Station, Westfield, Falkirk, FK2 9AH. The network is for anyone involved in supporting or managing volunteers, and provides a space to meet, network, discuss topics relevant to volunteering within the third sector, and share experiences.

We will be joined by Alison Clyde, CEO of Generations Working Together (GWT), who will speak about intergenerational practice, how this brings people together in purposeful activities (which then promote greater understanding and respect between generations), and contributes to building more cohesive communities. Alison will also share some intergenerational volunteer examples.

There will be time for discussion and networking, and refreshments will be provided.
