Towns and BIDs Resilience and Recovery Fund
Scottish Government’s Towns and BIDs Resilience and Recovery Fund supports immediate concerns and actions to help prepare towns, their communities and businesses for the gradual easing of lockdown rules. Managed by Scotland’s Towns Partnership (STP), the fund aims to help resource project delivery, where a recovery strategy for the town has been agreed with the local authority. The fund is open to constituted groups with suitable governance controls. The deadline for applications is 5pm on Friday 24th July.
Charity Bank COVID-19 Funding List
Charity Bank has put together a list of emergency funds for charities, social enterprises and other third sector organisations experiencing difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown. The list is updated regularly, with sections on UK-wide funding as well as those funds specific to each country, and those which are available internationally and regionally.
Foyle Foundation Small Grants Scheme
The Foyle Foundation’s Small Grants Scheme has re-opened to applications from registered charities with a turnover of less than £150,000 per annum. The scheme has been revised as a result of COVID-19, and will provide one year grants to cover core costs or essential equipment, enabling ongoing service provision, homeworking, or delivery of online digital services to charities that can show financial stability. Charities can apply for between £1,000 – £10,000; there is no application deadline.
“Movement for Good” Awards Open
Ecclesiastical Insurance Group’s “Movement for Good” awards are open for applications to their £50,000 grant. The awards are open to eligible registered charities with an income of less than £5 million, which support one of the following causes: the advancement of education and skills; citizenship or community development; arts, culture or heritage. The deadline for applications is Friday 24th July.
Aldi Scottish Sport Fund: Open for Central Scotland Applications
The Aldi Scottish Sport Fund is accepting applications from groups in Central Scotland (including Falkirk, Polmont, Stirling and Alloa). The fund is a community-based sport programme designed to help children take part in sports within their local communities, by giving local groups (who do not have to be registered charities) the opportunity to secure up to £2,500 of funding. The Central Scotland deadline for applications is Monday 20th July.
Independent Age Grants Fund
Independent Age has launched their Independent Age Grants Fund to help smaller organisations across the UK support older people most affected by COVID-19. £2 million will be released across 4 separate funding rounds, with £500,00 available each round; organisations can apply for grants of up to £15,000, with the next deadline at 9am on Thursday…
BBC Children in Need Next Steps Programme: Deadline Approaching
BBC Children in Need (CiN)’s COVID-19 Next Steps programme has changed their deadline and now closes for applications at 12pm Wednesday 24th June. The programme is BBC CiN’s response programme designed to deliver support for children and young people affected by COVID-19. Eligible organisations can apply for between £5,000 – £80,000 for work commencing in September 2020. These grants can last up to 18 months, and are designed for established organisations who are already delivering work in their communities and further afield.
Free CVS Falkirk Funding Portal
The CVS Falkirk Funding Portal is free and can be used to search for funding available in your area, during COVID-19 and beyond. The online portal is powered by Grantsonline, the UK’s most comprehensive and up to date UK grant funding information service. Once registered, users will be able to search for a range of different funding opportunities, across local and national organisations.
Cultivation Street Campaign and Competition
David Domoney’s Cultivation Street campaign has opened for applications to its 7th year. The campaign has £13,000 of garden vouchers available to community, neighbourhood and school gardens looking to invest in community gardening and revitalise local areas.
