Volunteer Scotland has announced the details of the Volunteering Action Plan Conference 2026, taking place on Tuesday 17 November 2026, 10am – 4pm, either online or in-person at The Barracks Conference Centre in Stirling.
With a theme of Bridging the Participation Gap, inspired by the report of the same name, the interactive conference has been designed to bring together volunteer organisers, practitioners, policymakers and volunteers, and will explore how to create more inclusive pathways into volunteering, strengthen volunteer safety and wellbeing, engage young people, improve governance, and shape the future of volunteer management in Scotland. The programme features keynote presentations, workshops, practical learning sessions, networking opportunities, drop-in discussions, and opportunities for shared learning and collaboration.
