Falkirk Council is inviting applications from third sector organisations for funding to deliver innovative, person-centred projects which prevent homelessness, promote rapid rehousing, and support tenancy sustainment across the Falkirk area.
The Rapid Rehousing and Prevention Fund supports trauma-informed, practical initiatives helping people on low incomes who are at risk of homelessness, are currently homeless, or moving on from temporary or supported accommodation. Projects should focus on ensuring people can transition smoothly into permanent housing, are equipped with the skills, tools, and confidence to maintain their tenancies, and to feel part of their local communities.
The fund aims to strengthen partnership working between Falkirk Council and the local third sector, supporting early intervention and prevention approaches which empower individuals to secure and sustain safe, stable accommodation.
Organisations can submit proposals to:
- deliver one or more of the example projects outlined in the fund guidance
- put forward their own project ideas (provided they align with the fund’s key focus areas on homelessness prevention and rapid rehousing)
The deadline for applications is Monday 1 December 2025; completed applications should be submitted by completing the linked Word application form and sending by email: sdt@falkirk.gov.uk
Further details, including eligibility and how to apply, are available in the fund information and eligibility pack (linked for your convenience).
