Macmillan recognises that emotional and psychological challenges are part of the experience of cancer. It is important that people affected by cancer are able to access the kind of psychological support that’s right for them. That might be an informal chat, a support group or more formal counselling or psychological therapy.
Macmillan have funded an 18-month project to look at what kinds of psychological support are currently available for people affected by cancer across Scotland. They have developed this short survey to ask your views, as either a patient or as a family member/friend of someone with cancer.
The survey can be accessed here (linked for you convenience) and will close on 3rd May 2024.
