Poppy Scotland is promoting an alternative Scottish Poppy Appeal this year, so people can safely show their support for the Armed Forces community.
People can get involved by donating, downloading and displaying an A4 poppy in the window of their home during the Remembrance period.
Due to COVID-19 and lockdown restrictions, many of Poppy Scotland’s volunteers are unable to collect as normal this year; instead, Poppy Scotland is asking people to donate online, as the quickest and easiest way to support the 2020 Scottish Poppy Appeal.
As mentioned above, they have also created a downloadable A4 poppy that can be downloaded and printed at home, as well as a blank poppy that can be coloured in if preferred.
Similar to the NHS rainbows earlier in the year, people can then display their poppy in a window of their home to show your support for the 2020 Scottish Poppy Appeal, and the Armed Forces community.
