Diabetes Scotland is hosting an online information session on how to live well with diabetes during the current pandemic, on Thursday 18th March, 10:30am – 12:pm.
“Living Well with Diabetes and COVID-19” brings together specialist staff in diabetes care to provide up to date information so that people living with diabetes, and their families, can learn more about diabetes care in Scotland, get practical tips to help self-management and live well with the condition.
“We know that living with diabetes is difficult, there are so many factors to consider and it can be stressful just coping with normal everyday ups and downs at the best of times.
During the current pandemic the most important thing anyone with diabetes can do is try their best to manage their condition carefully.”
On the day there will be sessions from:
- a Senior Diabetes Specialist Nurse
- a Dietetic Service Lead
- a Self-Management Facilitator
- a mindfulness and relaxation practitioner
There will also be a Q&A on the day, where Diabetes Scotland will try to address as many questions as possible.
There is no need to set up a Zoom account to be able to join this session; once registered, you will be emailed a link to the event and passcode.
Questions in advance are welcomed, and should be submitted before 1pm on Wednesday 17th March, by email: linda.mcglynn@diabetes.org.uk or scotland@diabetes.org.uk
