The Lintel Trust Small Grant Fund is currently open for applications, looking to support impactful projects which drive real change where it is needed most, and address housing challenges.
The Trust is offering grants of £500 or £1,000 to support local projects which improve people’s lives in social housing communities. These grants are specifically designed to fund initiatives which make a real difference, such as helping residents stay connected, learn digital skills, and maintain their independence.
The Trust will support projects which aim to:
- tackle social isolation in housing communities
- promote digital participation for housing communities
- enable older people to remain independent and in their own homes
- enable people with disabilities to live independently
- assist people moving from homelessness into a secure tenancy
As a small charity, awarding small grants, the Trust aims to help grassroots community projects where its contribution is a meaningful one and makes up more than 30% of the total project cost. The small grant programme is aimed at small local projects only; applications for national campaigns will not be considered.
To be eligible for a grant from the Lintel Trust, applicants must be not for profit, based in Scotland, and be able to evidence a close connection with a housing association, housing co-operative or other social housing provider (such as a local authority).
There are four application deadlines in 2026, with the next closing date on Wednesday 12 August 2026.
