FEL Scotland is hosting the Climate and Energy Gathering 2026 on Tuesday 28 April 2026 to bring together community organisations, businesses, individuals and local authorities working in energy efficiency, sustainable energy and the reduction of carbon emissions.
Taking place 9:30am – 3:30pm at The Barracks Conference Centre, Forthside Way, Stirling, FK8 1QZ, the gathering will feature speakers, workshops and breakout sessions, plus opportunities to meet others in the industry, and showcase present and planned energy projects.
The day will be themed around “Powering Up” and “Powering Down”, with the morning sessions looking at scaling up energy generation and opportunities for empowering communities, and the afternoon sessions looking into reducing energy demand at the home, business and community level. Lunch will be provided, with opportunities to network with other industry professionals, browse exhibits from energy organisations, and read the shortlisted entries from FEL Scotland’s recent climate writing competition.
There will be eight workshop options to choose from on the day, with individuals able to attend four of the eight sessions. Confirmed breakout sessions include:
- identifying regional community priorities for community energy reinvestment
- regional retrofit hubs and their impact on energy reduction
- investigating community building efficiency
