Falkirk’s Mental Health Association (FDAMH) is running a series of free short courses aiming to help people deal with the psychological effects which menopause can bring.
Funded by the Falkirk Communities Mental Health and Wellbeing Fund (managed by CVS Falkirk & District), the courses are designed to be informative and supportive, and educate participants on:
- neurological changes and the impact on moods and emotions
- how to tackle “brain fog”
- building resilience and finding coping mechanisms
- the impact and changes in menopausal bodies, and how to manage them
- menopause and sleep
- menopause in the workplace
Each course has 4 sessions, delivered on the same day and time each week, taking place:
- Thursday 29 May 2025 – Thursday 19 June 2025, 5:45pm – 7:45pm at Denny Library, Davies, Row, Denny, FK6 6FA
