The team at Falkirk’s Cancer Research charity shop has extended their 2020 Stand Up to Cancer (SU2C) online fundraising campaign to Saturday 14^th November.

Many of the shop’s annual SU2C events have been cancelled due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, especially as most would involve large groups of people. Instead, the team have joined many other groups and organisations in designing innovative and creative fundraising ideas.

Instead of physical collection buckets, they have launched an online platform to provide people the opportunity to raise money for vital research through A Bucket for Change.

They are also inviting people to post a picture, or a link to a piece of music, which represents a memory of a loved one lost to cancer, or someone who is going through treatment, to their Facebook page, and donate £1 (or more) to match. (No names would be mentioned, only the pictorial memory.)
