Community Conversations: You Need You!

Falkirk Council has announced an extra Community Conversations session for the Upper Braes (Ward 9) area THIS THURSDAY 18th March, 6pm – 7:30pm.

The session will be held online via Teams, and will look at and further discuss some of the useful points raised during last Thursday’s conversation.

Our local communities’ input is essential to this process, especially as they are often underrepresented in these conversations. CVS Falkirk urge you to take advantage of this new date and your chance to be heard.

We know everyone is incredibly busy right now, but we would ask you to find time to take part, as it is so important for you and your communities to have a say in use of community property and schools. Falkirk Council want knowledge and insight of local communities to help them better understand how public buildings – and the services provided in them – can meet local needs, now and in the future.

You Need You 1024x574(Image caption: Lord Kitchener pointing at the viewer on the left, with the words, “You need you! The future is in your hands,” in black and red text to the right.)

Getting involved now means that you have a chance to influence council services and support in your area, and raise known issues with many of the council’s decision makers.

To attend the session and have your say, please use the Teams link (linked for your convenience).

Alternatively, contact Falkirk Council’s team by email: councilofthefuture@falkirk.gov.uk
