Forth Valley Sensory Centre is marking its 20th anniversary in 2026, with a range of activities celebrating its work and the community which has developed around the organisation. There are a number of opportunities to take part in anniversary events, or support the celebrations.

The centre’s 20th anniversary garden party will take place on Thursday 6 August 2026, 11am – 2pm at the centre itself, Redbrae Road, Camelon, FK1 4DD.

A yarn bombing project is also planned for Falkirk Town Centre over the summer holidays. Volunteers with an interest in knitting, crocheting or sewing are encouraged to get involved by helping to create bollard covers for the display.

The planned Big Birthday Walk has been postponed due to canal path closures and safety concerns – as many participants have sight loss, the decision has been made to reschedule the walk for a later date, once the towpath reopens in the summer.
