The guidance is designed to be easy to follow, with additional links to trusted Police Scotland partners’ sites, where further support is available. Falkirk to Larbert Route Proposals: Feedback Needed
As part of the Falkirk Walking, Wheeling and Cycling Feasibility Studies, and following a number of co-design workshops with local communities, SEStran, Falkirk Council and Arup have developed concept proposals for the Falkirk to Larbert route. They would like to hear people’s thoughts and feedback on the proposals, via the dedicated Virtual Engagement Room (VER).

CVS Falkirk Holiday Weekend Hours
The CVS Falkirk team are off Friday 15th April and Monday 18th April for the holiday weekend, and will return to work on Tuesday 19th April at 9am. While this is a bank holiday weekend, we recognise that for many of our friends and colleagues of faith, it is also a significant time in their calendars. The Breastfeeding Network Helper Volunteers
The Breastfeeding Network is recruiting for 12 Volunteer Helpers to support their services in the Falkirk area. Volunteer Helpers support the delivery of drop-in sessions in various community settings, and offer phone support, amongst other tasks. The closing date for applications is LATER TODAY, Tuesday 12th April, and successful applicants will complete an online training course before beginning their volunteer role.
Volunteers’ Week Stories: We Want to Hear from You!
Volunteers’ Week 2022 is approaching and as part of our celebrations, and keeping in line with the theme Year of Stories, we would love to feature a series of positive stories from our wonderful Falkirk volunteers. Volunteers of any age are welcome to tell their story. The stories can also be told in various formats: written, video, poetry or song, or largely photo-based.
Closure of Community Led and Improving Lives Programmes
The National Lottery Community Fund Scotland is closing their Community Led and Improving Lives programmes to new applications at the end of September. This is part of their process of reviewing their funding offer and developing new programmes to ensure the best use of National Lottery funding in supporting communities to thrive in future. As a result, the programmes will close to applications on Friday 30th September 2022, with a new portfolio launching in early 2023. National Lottery Awards for All, Young Start and Scottish Land Fund are not part of this review and will remain open to applications.
