The Braveheart Association is holding an International Women’s Week Celebration on Wednesday 4th March, 10:30am – 3pm at the Braveheart Connections Community Hub in the Howgate Shopping Centre, Falkirk (located beside Debenhams).
The celebration will feature a range of activities, including:
- foraging walk through Callendar Park, setting out from Braveheart Connections at 10:30am, followed by a wild pesto-making workshop; places at this session are limited and booking is essential
- Qi Gong taster session at 11am, where people are welcome to participate in the centuries-old system of co-ordinated body posture and movement, breathing and meditation used to increase health, spirituality and wellbeing
- community lunch and carbon conversation from 12:30pm, including a bowl of soup and homemade bread
- Cycling Without Age (CWA) Falkirk taster session, where the team will talk about the project and how people can get involved with the state of the art trishaws
