Social Investment Scotland’s flagship programme, Ambitions, will host a live event again this year, taking place Thursday 2 October 2025, 9am – 5pm, at The Social Hub, 15 Candleriggs Square, Glasgow, G1 1TQ.

Funded in partnership with Postcode Innovation Trust, Ambitions LIVE aims to engage social enterprises in conversations about leadership, sustainability and commercialisation. There will also be networking and matchmaking opportunities with key buyers and purchasers from across Scotland. Keynote speaker Ynzo van Zanten (formerly of Tony’s Chocolonely) will open the event, which will focus on commerciality through operational and strategic leadership, planning and forecasting.

Throughout the day, there will be workshops on Environmental, Social and Governance objectives (ESG), storytelling, commerciality, purposeful and sustainable leadership, financial planning, procurement, storytelling and product development. The event will also feature practical tools and tips aimed at empowering social enterprises to deliver new or different opportunities and new routes to market, while giving consideration to the true cost of business development.
