The Wise Music Foundation offers grant funding to small UK charities supporting vulnerable people facing hardship, distress, illness, or poverty. “With a focus on making a meaningful difference at a local level, the Foundation provides accessible funding opportunities for organisations delivering vital services.”
Trustees meet quarterly to review applications, and grants range from £500 – £5,000, with an average award of £1,500. Whilst the Foundation has broad interests, priority is given to projects supporting some of the most vulnerable groups in society, including children, people experiencing homelessness, older people, and people living with disabilities. The Foundation also supports a wider range of causes, including education, arts and heritage, health and disability support, food banks, and other charitable initiatives or community-based projects addressing urgent social needs.
Eligible organisations must have an annual turnover under £500,000. All applications must be submitted online via the Wise Music Foundation website.
The next closing date is Sunday 31 May 2026. Decisions for this round are expected to be made in June, aiming to provide a relatively quick turnaround for applicants.
“For small charities seeking funding to support essential work within their communities, the Wise Music Foundation offers a straightforward and accessible opportunity.”
Organisations are encouraged to review the Foundation’s aims and submit an application ahead of the upcoming deadline.
