One Parent Families Scotland (OPFS) and Home-Start Falkirk have opened their Warm Wednesdays at the Grangemouth Hub, located within the Sealock Centre (Beancross Community Centre), Montgomery Street, Grangemouth, FK3 8QR.
This is open to all parents and carers to drop in for a hot drink and a chat, and aims to provide an opportunity to meet new people and find out more about the Family Hub in Grangemouth. The space is open every Wednesday, 9:15am – 12pm.
Offering guidance around a variety of topics such as family support, money advice, health and wellbeing, education and training support, and more, these sessions are open to all families.
OPFS’ service is part of the Family Support Panel in Falkirk, which requires a referral; however, they hope to reach parents for one-off supports and guidance through their Grangemouth Family Hub. Their priority areas of support are Children, Home, Health & Wellbeing, Relationships, Money, and Work, Training & Education. As this hub is in partnership with Home-Start, parents and carers do not need to be single parents to come along.
