Volunteers’ Week is in full swing, and there is still time to recognise your volunteers and thank them for all their efforts before the 2026 celebrations conclude on Sunday.

The official website has lots of ideas on how to show your appreciation, including organising a coffee morning, or taking to social media to share thank you messages, spotlights or videos showcasing the impact your volunteers have (for example!), using the hashtag #VolunteersWeek and #VolunteersWeekScot in Scotland.

There is also a range of resources available to help, including printable thank you cards (for that personal touch), email footers to share with external contacts how important your volunteers are, and photo props like a selfie frame to help you show your gratitude and have a bit of fun at the same time.
