Volunteer Scotland Learning Byte Video: Legal Requirements

Volunteer Scotland’s latest Learning Byte video focuses on organisations’ legal responsibilities under the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020.

The video looks at when disclosure checks (including Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG)) are legally required, the minimum age for scheme membership, an organisation’s duty to refer, and when this applies. There is also information on what these legal requirements mean for third sector groups and organisations as employers, and what constitutes inappropriate behaviour.
