The Volant Charitable Trust’s Large Grants programme is now open for applications, supporting Scottish charities and projects tackling social deprivation.
Grants of up to £15,000 per year for up to 3 years are available for organisations with an annual income of up to £1 million. Funding is administered by Foundation Scotland, and can cover both project and core costs. Priority themes include:
- Poverty and deprivation: food provision, mental health support, and assistance for vulnerable families.
- Women: services for lone mothers, victims of abuse, women prisoners, and antenatal/postnatal care.
- Children and young people: counselling and outreach for those at risk due to neglect, abuse, or substance misuse.
Projects must meet at least one of these specific themes.
The application process involves 2 stages, with the Stage 1 deadline being Tuesday 31 March 2026.
