1st Step Development Ventures is recruiting a Senior Training Bike Mechanic.

The position is 35 hours per week (including regular Saturday hours), with a salary of £25,116, based in the Howgate Shopping Centre in Falkirk, leading the 1st Step workshop, retail space and workshop team.

Funded by the National Lottery Community Fund, the role focuses on supporting volunteers affected by addiction and poor mental health, helping people build skills, confidence, and purpose through hands-on bike repair and teamwork. The successful candidate will ensure the safe, smooth running of the workshop, while fostering a positive, recovery-focused environment.
