UnLtd, the charity which supports social entrepreneurs and enterprises, has re-opened its Funding Futures Programme, which supports 16- to 30-year-olds whose ideas foster financial inclusion in marginalised communities across the UK.
The programme offers two tiers of grants: up to £8,000 for social start-ups and up to £18,000 for existing social enterprises ready to expand.
- To be eligible for the Starting Up Grant, applicants should be in the early stages of developing a financially sustainable initiative that delivers social impact. Initial efforts should already be making a positive difference to individuals, communities, or the environment.
- To be eligible for the Scaling Up Grant, the initiative must be a financially sustainable social venture with demonstrated positive impact. Evidence of this impact should be available, along with clear plans to expand and build upon it. The programme also provides tailored support such as one-to-one coaching, peer workshops, legal guidance, and financial literacy training to help founders overcome any barriers.
Applicants must be UK-based, aged between 16 and 30, and have an idea or venture operating for less than four years, with a focus on financial inclusion.
