UNCRC (Incorporation) Scotland Bill Training Sessions

To support organisations and partnerships in preparing for the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) (Incorporation) Scotland Bill (which will soon become law), Children in Scotland has 3 training sessions available:

• Self e-learning for Practitioners: illustrating the policy context for the incorporation of the UNCRC into Scots law (to be completed in participants’ own time)
• Online Workshop for Practitioners: Tuesday 13^th July, 9:30am – 1pm
• Online Workshop for Leaders and Service Managers: Tuesday 27^th July, 9:30am – 1pm

Participants will be supported to further develop their participation work, particularly around awareness, knowledge and understanding of the UNCRC. They will also be able to embed a child rights-based approach in their practices, contributing to effective services planning.
