The Thomas Wall Trust is offering grants of up to £5,000 to registered UK charities supporting disadvantaged adults (aged 18 years old and over) in developing communication skills which enhance employment prospects.

Priority is given to projects aiding people facing multiple deprivation or major hurdles to employment, with particular focus on: women; people with physical, mental, or learning disabilities; and refugees. Eligible charities must have been registered for at least 3 years, with an annual turnover of £25,000 – £500,000. The funding covers costs for specific projects (including pro rata staffing), and beneficiaries must gain at least one accredited vocational qualification during or within 2 months of project completion.

Applications follow a two stage process, with the deadline for Stage 1 submissions set for Friday 11 September 2026. Match funded projects will be prioritised.
