In conjunction with Police Scotland, Falkirk Council’s Adult Support and Protection team is holding virtual training on Third Party Reporting (TPR), on Friday 17th September, 9:45am – 12pm.
TPR is the mechanism for organisations to report issues and crimes on behalf of adults in local communities who require help and support to report these to the police. The training aims to ensure attendees are aware of the reasons for TPRs, processes in completion of the relevant forms and Police processes once the form has been completed.
The sessions will also enable organisations to become Third Party Reporting Centres; to do this, there would be a requirement of 2 or more members of staff to have received the training.
Additionally, the training can act as suitable refresher training for anyone who has received the training previously, or for new members to the team if the organisation is an existing reporting centre.
