The Fore, a UK‑based venture philanthropy fund, will open its next funding round next Wednesday 8 July 2026. The programme offers unrestricted grants of up to £45,000 over one to three years to small charities and social enterprises with an annual income below £500,000.
Eligible organisations include UK‑registered charities, Community Interest Companies (CICs) limited by guarantee, and asset‑locked Community Benefit Societies (CBSs). Applicants’ annual revenue should be less than £500,000, and while they can be based in any location or area of work, they must be registered in the UK.
Funding can be used flexibly to support core and revenue costs, including organisational development, capacity building, sustainability and reaching new beneficiaries. Applications are particularly encouraged from organisations working with underserved communities, and those who have previously found it difficult to access funding.
Application exclusions include fund CICs limited by shares, non-charitable CBSs which do not have an asset lock.
Registration will be open for one week, from 12pm on Wednesday 8 July 2026, to 12pm on Wednesday 15 July 2026. Applicants will be notified on 16 July if they have been selected to submit a full application.
Please note that this fund is highly competitive. The Fore advises that applications are less likely to progress where there are ongoing financial deficits, limited reserves, or where the proposed impact cannot be sustained beyond the funding period. It is also unlikely to fund those who have previously received a grant, due to its focus on supporting transformational shifts.
