The DWF Foundation provides grants to registered charities supporting homelessness, health, education, employability, the environment, and community wellbeing.
The Foundation does not have a minimum grant size, but the majority of grants will fall under £5,000. Please note, due to the funds available, the DWF Foundation will not fund multi-year grants.
The DWF Foundation (also referred to as the Foundation) is an independent charity, founded by DWF, an international law firm. It has the sole aim of providing funds, resources and mentoring support to help individuals, groups and communities to achieve their full potential. Applications are welcome from registered charities working in a country where DWF has a presence.
It particularly helps with initiatives which develop and improve local communities by:
- tackling a specific community issue
- helping voluntary and community groups become more effective and efficient
- encouraging the involvement in the community of those often excluded
- enabling young people to develop skills for the benefit of the community
The foundation aims to strengthen local communities through sustainable, inclusive, and effective initiatives. Applications are accepted at any time, and reviewed at upcoming committee meetings. Only registered charities are eligible to apply.
The next deadline for 2025 submissions is Tuesday 30 September 2025, for consideration in December.
