Volunteer Scotland has released its reflections on the changes brought about by the Disclosure (Scotland) Act 2020 (namely around the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme), 3 months after the end of the grace period.
“It’s been a challenging few months and one of the most significant changes in the Disclosure legislation is the requirement for all individuals in a regulated role to join the PVG scheme. The scale of response has shown just how seriously the sector is taking this.
“Now that the dust has (mostly) settled, Volunteer Scotland have taken a moment to reflect on what’s changed, what they’ve learned, and how they’re continuing to support you moving forward.”
