Scottish Government’s online survey on a single intermediary for social enterprises in Scotland closes THIS SUNDAY at 11pm!
The survey is part of their research into what Scottish social enterprises are looking for from an intermediary body, along with interviews of other intermediaries and strategic partners.
The desire for a single intermediary body has been identified through Scottish Government’s implementation of the Scotland’s Social Enterprise Strategy (2016 – 2026), which “sets out a wide-ranging and long-term vision to develop the potential of Scotland’s social enterprise sector. It describes a clear path to stimulating social enterprise activity, developing stronger organisations and realising market opportunities over a ten-year period.” (Source: Scottish Government.)
It is hoped that a single intermediary will better reflects the needs of the sector through the creation of a single social enterprise membership body in Scotland. The current research is designed to help Scottish Government find out what organisations value most about current service provision, and gather their ideas on how future provision should be enhanced to ensure that social enterprise is given the support it needs.
Survey questions have been co-developed with existing membership organisations, and responses will be anonymised and analysed by Scottish Government. The results will generate evidence and key findings for a published report, which will inform the next steps in securing a single intermediary body for the sector.
The survey should take approximately 15 minutes to complete, and should only be completed once per organisation.
