Social Investment Scotland (SIS) and Social Enterprise Scotland have launched their joint business support programme, Purchase Power.
The programme is designed as an opportunity for socially motivated enterprises with products, services and experiences to connect with corporates seeking to develop their social and environmental impact. Purchase Power aims to support social enterprises in becoming “purchase ready”. From honing their skills and storytelling, to refining operational excellence, Purchase Power is designed to equip participants with the tools and insights needed to win business and scale their impact.
The Purchase Power Programme focuses on 3 key areas:
- Standout Products – Learn how to make your product or service a top choice for buyers by positioning it strategically and competitively.
- Compelling Storytelling – Discover how to transform your impact into a powerful story that resonates with potential customers and partners.
- Efficient Systems – Make sure your logistics and admin are seamless so you can build confidence with buyers and retain business.
The programme sessions begin on Tuesday 25 February, and culminate in a buyer matchmaking event on Thursday 27 February.
The deadline for programme applications is Tuesday 11 February.
In the lead-up to the programme, SIS is hosting their Talking Heads sessions: a series of inspiring talks from leaders who will share their journeys, challenges, and solutions for sustaining commercial contracts and social impact. Sessions include speakers from:
