Public Services Delivery Scotland (PSD Scotland) is holding a Learning and Sharing Session on Tuesday 29 September 2026, 1:30pm – 3pm, via Microsoft Teams.
Families and Carers as Partners in Mental Health Services will explore the role of families and carers as partners in supporting people experiencing mental ill health, featuring both clinical expertise and lived experience perspectives. The session will examine how collaborative, culturally responsive approaches can strengthen relationships, build trust, and improve outcomes for people accessing mental health services. Attendees will also reflect on how services can work alongside families and carers in meaningful and inclusive ways, recognising the unique value that each partner brings to a person’s recovery and wellbeing.
