The University of Edinburgh is looking for people to take part in their research into reducing sitting time for people working from home.
Specifically, they are looking for participants aged 18 – 40 years old, from 2 groups:
- those working in the administrative, clerical, or customer service sectors, with no line management duties
- as a token of appreciation for their time and input, particpants in this group be offered a £30 Love to Shop voucher
- line managers working in these sectors
The research aims to increase learning about the time people spend sitting when they are working from home, and to develop ideas to help those working in desk-based roles move more during their working day, in order to minimise longer-term impacts to health.
Participants from both groups will be invited take part in a one hour focus group each, via Teams.
