We are delighted this week to be publishing the 500th edition of CVS Falkirk & District’s weekly e-bulletin!
This major milestone is a long way from our very first e-bulletin in September 2014, continually improving and developing the bulletin’s format and content to best meet the needs of Falkirk District’s third sector. The digital e-bulletin was preceded by our “Inform” and “Volunteering Matters” newsletters, which were printed and posted to recipients on a monthly and quarterly basis. These colourful publications laid the foundations for our subsequent branding and articles – bright, bold, and informative.
Thank you to those readers who have been with us since the first online edition, everyone who received the physical newsletters, and everyone who has signed up to receive the e-bulletin since. We hope you find this weekly email useful and informative and we are always happy to receive your comments and feedback.
Our CEO, Victoria McRae, reflects:
“We are so proud of our e-bulletin, and the impact it has. Each week, it is delivered to over 1,000 people with details of events and groups held by Falkirk District’s third sector, relevant funding opportunities, training across a variety of subjects, and opportunities to feed into local and national policy and decision making.
Since our first online edition in 2014, we have hugely developed our digital presence and the weekly e-bulletin continues to be a key part of that. We are now looking to find out more about what local colleagues like best about the e-bulletin and hear how they’d like to engage with it in the future.”
To mark this momentous occasion, we have a launched a short survey to gather your feedback and find out more about how we can improve the e-bulletin in future. We can reveal that one lucky survey respondent will win a small hamper full of treats and goodies, as a token of our appreciation.
The survey should take approximately 5 minutes to complete, and will close on Friday 19 September 2025, with the winner being announced the following week.
To complete the survey, please visit our SurveyMonkey page (linked for your convenience).
