Supported by Scottish Government, the Open University (OU) is offering a number of fully-funded places across their suite of 5 online teaching Microcredentials for people working or volunteering in Community Learning and Development (CLD) roles.
These accredited courses will start in June 2022 and will run for 12 weeks. The available courses will allow people in these CLD roles to look at how they can deliver a more digitally accessible service, while broadening their reach to more young people, adults, families and community groups. The skills and knowledge gained from the courses can then be applied to a wide range of CLD contexts, including youth work, community development, community building, adult learning.
The OU also offers fully-funded places on 18 accredited Microcredentials in subjects such as business and management, leadership, sustainability, and computing & IT. These courses are available at both undergraduate and postgraduate level, and aim to give learners skills to progress in their career.
Both programmes are open to people aged 18 years old and over, living in Scotland.
The deadline for applications to both funded programmes is Sunday 15th May.
