The Aldi Scottish Sport Fund is accepting applications from groups in Central Scotland (including Falkirk, Polmont, Stirling and Alloa). The fund is a community-based sport programme designed to help children take part in sports within their local communities, by giving local groups (who do not have to be registered charities) the opportunity to secure up to £2,500 of funding. The Central Scotland deadline for applications is Monday 20th July.

BBC Children in Need Next Steps Programme: Deadline Approaching
BBC Children in Need (CiN)’s COVID-19 Next Steps programme has changed their deadline and now closes for applications at 12pm Wednesday 24th June. The programme is BBC CiN’s response programme designed to deliver support for children and young people affected by COVID-19. Eligible organisations can apply for between £5,000 – £80,000 for work commencing in September 2020. These grants can last up to 18 months, and are designed for established organisations who are already delivering work in their communities and further afield.
Free CVS Falkirk Funding Portal
The CVS Falkirk Funding Portal is free and can be used to search for funding available in your area, during COVID-19 and beyond. The online portal is powered by Grantsonline, the UK’s most comprehensive and up to date UK grant funding information service. Once registered, users will be able to search for a range of different funding opportunities, across local and national organisations.
Cultivation Street Campaign and Competition
David Domoney’s Cultivation Street campaign has opened for applications to its 7th year. The campaign has £13,000 of garden vouchers available to community, neighbourhood and school gardens looking to invest in community gardening and revitalise local areas.
