The Eden Project has announced that their annual “The Big Lunch” will take place Saturday 5th June – Sunday 6th June this year. The event is a chance for people in communities across the UK to get together with others in their local area, to celebrate existing community connections and make new ones.

Update: VHS Vaccine Inclusion Research
Voluntary Health Scotland (VHS) has announced that, after Easter, they will be sending out the report on the outcomes of their February vaccine inclusion survey.
The Falkirk Plan: Carse and the Tryst Area Online Meetings
Stenhousemuir Football Club and Falkirk CPP are working together to create a local plan, and they want community members to help them shape the future of these communities: Carse and the Tryst – Stenhousemuir, Larbert, Carron, Carronshore, Airth and Carse. As well as their online survey, Stenhousemuir Football Club will hold 2 free online meetings for local people and community groups in these areas on: Wednesday 21st April, 7pm – 9pm, on “Employment Education & the Environment”; Wednesday 28th April, 7pm – 9pm, on “Health, Wellbeing and Sport”.
Therapy Train Stirling CIC COSCA Training
Therapy Train Stirling CIC is delivering an advanced communication course, COSCA Certificate in Counselling Skills, teaching empathetic listening. The course will be delivered online weekly from Saturday 24th April until mid-December 2021. There are four modules at £365 each, totalling 120 hours. The deadline for applications is Friday 16th April.

April’s Thursday “Care with Confidence” sessions from Falkirk and Clackmannanshire Carers Centre will take place: “Vegan Easter” with Vegetarian for Life on Thursday 1st April; “Scams” with Trading Standards Scotland, on Thursday 8th April; “Footcare” on Thursday 15th April; “Electric Vehicles” on Thursday 22nd April; “Dementia & Dentistry” on Thursday 29th April. As before, sessions are via Zoom, 10:30am – 12:30pm.
