Scotland’s Mental Health First Aid Course with FDAMH
Applications are now open for Falkirk’s Mental Health Association’s (FDAMH) Scotland’s Mental Health First Aid (SMHFA) – 2 Day Course, taking place on Thursday 23 April 2026 and Thursday 30 April 2026, 9:30am – 4:30pm both days. This course is £150 per person, and will take place at the FDAMH Victoria Centre, 173 Victoria Rd, Falkirk, FK2 7AU.
CONSOLIDATE Network National Dementia Survey
Age Scotland is partnering with Heriot-Watt University and University of Strathclyde on the CONSOLIDATE project, exploring how people living with dementia can remain independent for longer, and how technology can support daily life in a meaningful way. As part of this research, a short national survey has been launched to gather insight and lived experience. The findings will help shape the next stage of the CONSOLIDATE research process.
Canine Partners Speakers Available for Groups
Canine Partners volunteers are available to speak to groups (virtually or in-person) in detail about what the organisation does and why, and how dogs are trained to complete everyday tasks.
Grangemouth Stadium Athletics Easter Camps
In addition to their weekly Run, Push, Jump, Throw athletics sessions, our Falkirk Funders Fayre hosts at Grangemouth Community Sports Trust have launched their Athletics Easter Camps! The sessions aim to allow children in Primary 1 – Primary 7 to try out various athletic disciplines in a fun and safe environment, and take place at Grangemouth Stadium, Kersiebank Avenue, Grangemouth, FK3 0EE, every day Monday 13 April – Friday 17 April 2026.
