The Living Wage Foundation recently announced the new Living Wage rates for 2025 – 2026: £13.45 per hour across the UK (£14.80 per hour in London).
The Living Wage rates are calculated annually by the Resolution Foundation and overseen by the Living Wage Commission.
All Living Wage employers should inform their staff within one month of the new rates, and implement the increase by this year’s deadline, Friday 1 May 2026. The new rates apply to all staff and subcontracted workers over the age of 18 years old, and also impact the Living Pension cash benchmark.
