Falkirk Foundation has announced the launch of a new session designed specifically for autistic girls aged 10 – 14 years old, running each Wednesday 4pm – 5pm at Woodlands Community Sports, Comley Park Primary, Cow Wynd, Falkirk, FK1 1PZ.
Aiming to provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where participants can experience the many benefits of football, Falkirk Foundation’s focus is on creating an atmosphere which encourages positive social interaction, free from pressure or judgement. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in football activities in a way that is accessible, understanding, and tailored to their needs.
“Falkirk Foundation recognises that autistic girls often mask their autism in everyday life, and hopes this session offers a space where they can feel comfortable being themselves. Participants can be entirely new to football, currently be playing football recreationally, or even those who play in competitive teams.”
