The Morrisons Foundation supports registered charities making a positive difference in local communities, with grants available for up to £10,000 to be used for capital spend or direct project delivery.
Applications should deliver on (at least) one of three objectives to be considered for support, these are:
- Tackling poverty and social deprivation
- Enhancing community spaces, facilities and services
- Improving health and wellbeing.
The Morrisons Foundation prioritises applications from small charities (those with an income of less than £1m) but applications from larger charities are welcome. Grants may be applied for by any charity which has been registered with the Office of the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) for a minimum of one year. Only one application per charity can be considered at any one time; and charities who have been unsuccessful in the past cannot apply for the same project within a 12 month period.
All applications for grants must be made through the Morrisons Foundation’s website. Applications can be submitted at any time (with no deadline for requests to be submitted) and can take up to three months to review. Before submitting an application, please read their Grant Funding Policy, and their Grant Application Guidance.
