Macrobert Arts Centre at Stirling University is hosting outdoor performances of MESS, Wednesday 21st July – Friday 23rd July.
MESS is a live show for children and young people (aged 5 – 18 years old) with complex additional support needs, and their families.
The show features a team of caretakers who demonstrate their cleaning abilities to the audience with singing and dancing. But one of the caretakers is rebellious and causes a stir by finding a pink rubber glove amongst the yellow ones. This discovery sets off a celebration of mess which delights the rest of the crew but shocks the chief.
MESS is a highly sensory and stimulating experience with socially distanced audience interaction throughout. There are frequent moments of stillness and silence to allow the audience time to process, engage, and respond. The trailer is available to watch on Vimeo.
This outdoor performance is exclusively performed to one household at a time only – one family bubble for up to 4 people.
Tickets are £4.50, £6.50, or £8.50 (on a “pay what you can” model). There is also a travel subsidy available.
