To mark April as Stress Awareness Month, Money Advice Scotland are running online bite-sized workshops to help address stress and promote wellbeing. These thirty-minute sessions will provide time and space to think critically about managing day-to-day stress and taking care of yourself at work.
Protecting Your Wellbeing Workshops will get participants examining their boundaries; which ones need to be worked on and what news ones may need to be introduced to show self-care and promote wellbeing. The session will also consider how to communicate boundaries to yourself and others to mitigate stress and overwhelm.
Stress Management Workshops will get participants talking about what’s causing stress at work and considering therapeutic administration tasks to help prioritise and focus – whilst also providing hints and tips to aid workload and task management.
These sessions will be held throughout April, on:
- 15th & 16th – Mini Stress Management (Priorities) Workshop
- 17th & 18th – Mini Protecting Your Wellbeing (Boundaries) Workshop
- 22nd & 23rd – Mini Stress Management (Priorities) Workshop
- 24th & 25th – Mini Protecting Your Wellbeing (Boundaries) Workshop
Aimed at advisers, support workers, and managers working in money advice or adjacent fields, including housing and welfare rights – these workshops are free of charge, and aim to support and improve wellbeing through a mixture of theory-based learning, practical exercises, and open dialogue.
These sessions are popular, with limited spaces, so they recommend booking as early as possible. Organisations interested in booking exclusive sessions for their staff teams, or who are interested in bespoke wellbeing training, are welcome to contact: heather@moneyadvicescotland.org.uk.
All pre-booked talks will be in English and will take place via Microsoft Teams.
