Make Your Mark is a campaign to increase the number and diversity of heritage volunteers in Scotland, across areas of built, natural, cultural and intangible heritage. Make Your Mark is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
On Thursday 27 February 2025, from 9am – 4:30pm, Make Your Mark are looking forward to welcoming volunteer-involving organisations (heritage and non-heritage) to their second annual Volunteer Managers Conference focusing on how to support a range of volunteers with various abilities and needs. With the option to attend in-person at The Engine Shed (Stirling) or online, the conference offers a combination of informative talks, interactive workshops, and panel discussions covering:
- The importance of inclusive leadership in supporting volunteer programmes
- Trends in culture and heritage volunteering in Scotland: the data picture
- How to fund inclusive volunteer programmes
- Supporting older volunteers who have to stop volunteering due to age-related reasons
- Inclusive group volunteering for people with support needs
- Lived experiences of people from a diverse range of communities who have tried out heritage volunteering
Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to learn, grow, and connect with like-minded volunteer managers.
