Link Academy is now inviting referrals for the January intake of its Moving On Up course, starting on Monday 18 January 2027 and providing trauma-informed support for 16 – 21 year olds.

Delivered in partnership with Falkirk Council’s Education and Training Unit, this free course focuses on mental health, wellbeing, and personal development, offering participants the chance to gain new skills, build confidence, explore their future goals, and connect with others in a supportive environment.

Each programme offers a wide range of interactive activities and SCQF qualifications which can be adapted to meet the needs of each group. In addition to regular group sessions, participants will receive one-to-one support throughout and beyond the 10-week programme to help them set and achieve their personal goals.

Based at Link Academy premises in McKinven House (FK2 7EY), meetings will take place each week on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, 10am – 3pm (with one-to-one support sessions on Fridays). Please note transport is not provided, and young people will need to be able to access the venue independently.

To refer a young person, please complete the Link Academy Referral Form (linked for your convenience). A member of Link Academy’s staff will contact the young people at the end of November to arrange an initial meeting to discuss the course.
