The Laughology Happiness Fund has opened its second funding round of 2026, offering two grants of £5,000 each to support two grassroots community organisations in the UK.
The fund aims to help build stronger, more resilient communities by supporting neighbourhood-based projects which improve mental health and wellbeing, promote inclusion, and provide learning or skills development opportunities. Funding is available to grassroots, community-based, not-for-profit organisations delivering activities which create lasting benefits for local people. Priority will be given to projects which can demonstrate long-term sustainability beyond the initial grant period (either through ongoing community involvement, or future funding opportunities). The fund cannot support applications for salaries, rent, retrospective costs, and medical research; large national charities and projects based outside the UK are also not eligible to apply.
The closing date for applications is Friday 2 October 2026.
