Human Development Scotland (HDS) is holding their 2021 Winter Conference on Thursday 25th November, 7:30pm – 9pm, via Zoom.
The conference will be around the theme of climate change, with speakers, presentations and panel discussions to discuss how psychoanalytic ideas (in particular child psychotherapy) can help understand and respond to children and young people’s concerns and feelings about climate change.
Speakers include:
- Isobel Pick, Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, former Chair of the Association of Child Psychotherapists (ACP)
- Margaret Rustin, Honorary Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist, and former Head of Child Psychotherapy at the Tavistock Clinic
- Andrew Dawson, professional lead for Child Psychotherapy in NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde
- Joan Herrmann, Former Head of Service for Adolescent Psychotherapy in NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde (CAMHS)
Tickets are £40 each, or £20 for current HDS students and Friends of HDS.
