The Hays Travel Foundation aims to create a brighter future for young people by supporting their development in education, poverty prevention, health, arts, culture, and sports.

Registered charities can apply for grants to support their mission or specific projects. The foundation focuses on helping young people in areas where Hays Travel operates (with multiple branches across Forth Valley, including one in Falkirk High Street). Applications are judged on two criteria: the project’s impact on young people (up to 25 years old) in specified areas, and the charity’s presence in regions with Hays Travel branches.

Grants awarded in 2024 ranged from under £200, up to £15,000. Grants do not cover staff or capital costs.

Successful applicants must submit 6 and 12 month reports detailing the impact of the funding (a report template and submission dates will be provided). Any press releases or mentions should be shared with the Hays Travel Foundation prior to their publication. Any social media mentions of funding received should tag the Hays Travel Foundation on their Facebook or Twitter page. (Likes and follows of both pages are also appreciated.)

Applications for this round will be presented to the Foundation’s board at the next Board Meeting on Tuesday 22 July 2025; the deadline for applications ahead of this meeting is Sunday 22 June 2025.
