The Paddle Trust is inviting applications for its latest funding round, closing on Wednesday 17 December 2025. Grants are available to support projects which improve public access to inland waterways and promote environmental conservation.
Eligible projects include:
- creation or enhancement of access points for paddlesports
- development of inclusive launching and landing sites using sustainable materials
- conservation of rivers, canals, estuaries, and reservoirs
Applicants must demonstrate project readiness, including planning permission, cost estimates, and community support. Priority is given to initiatives with matched funding and long-term sustainability.
Applications are welcomed from paddling clubs, community groups, parish councils, local authorities, and partnerships with paddlesport organisations.
Recent awards include:
- £2,175 for a launch platform in South Kyme
- £3,989 for river clearance in Norfolk and Suffolk
- £7,500 for a jetty at Lough Henney
